Hello there I'm 26, My bf is living in abroad. We were planned to got married before some months but this pandemic messed up our plan and Lately he is changing his thoughts several times. I wanted to marry here in Addis as it preserve my family dignity but deep down I realize he don't want to come here not to take the risk of the Virus. Now he is repeatedly asking me to marry another country which is Neither his country nor my country, and the amazing part is we never met in person before, so I feel discomfort on that idea. 😣I'm really confusing what to decide. Guys I need your help badly. Thank you in advance for you comments

First congra .... . And first its difficult what to expect on this kind of relation .i mean when u dont meet in person even for once. May be my advice is to suggest to u cancel the wedding for now...and focus on him knowing him in person ...knowing what his character is up close. . From what u tell us...i feel he hide something ...and if u marry him like this u might get hurt ... plus in wedding always it have to be abt women...he has to give u priority in every decision .... I live in the US and I hear all this terrible news everyday. Marrying someone you meet online, without even meeting them in person🤯. You said he was married and had 3 kids🤯. People here are crazy, i’m not trying to scare you but you don’t know what he will do to you once he gets you under control. Some people know that girls in Africa are are excited to come to west and they specifically target girls like you. I mean, The life here is not like the movies there is nothing that much of a big deal plus imagine what kind of life you’ll live when you stay with a divorced person that has 3 kids to support. I’m guessing the person is not habesha and even if he’s habesha, trust me people are weird here. It’s your life, your choice but I would say this is so wrong. Living in a foreign country is not an easy thing. Tell your parents to shut up because they might be leading you to a disaster .

You marrying someone you don’t know because he lives in Canada ha. Don’t hit me with my family is nagging me and all, I should assume you’re 21+ so your parents can’t force you. Let them talk whatever they want. Same story happened with my friend since he lives in Turkey, he came here and all went good until someone overheard him talking on the phone saying say hi to kids and all. Turns out he’s married with 2 kids. Still he wasn’t ashamed and got excuse saying I’m Muslim and its allowed and bs. Idk what to say more for you to understand. You’re mature enough!
