Okay I'm a medical student... May have some valid advice for you.
Post operative is a little scary, isn't it? Especially after a major surgery like open cholecystectomy. I've had the privilege and the opportunity to look after patients who were in hospital during and after the surgery. I even had the chance to look at the surgery with my naked eye. Very cool!! isn't it!
Through that, I've come to see how good the doctors, surgeons are in their job. Most of the operations were successful and the patients got discharged with a smooth recovery.
After surgery you'll stay in hospital for 2 or 3 days, or more depending on your condition. The wound will likely heal fast. May take a week or two for you to easily walk. A month for everything to normalize but probably less if you eat well and protect yourself from harm. The doctor's will advice you on what and whatnots. You'll come across some lifestyle modifications, dietary modifications... things that doctor's will probably explain if you ask them. (Doc's are busy and forget to explain all this to their patients, you have to ask them if you want more elaboration).
Mostly though I've seen that such surgeries go well.
TB treatment is not necessary. If you have it, yes you'll be given medications. But the surgery won't cause TB.
Hope I've addressed your concern...
I'm open if you have more questions!
