I am genuinely terrified and losing sleep over the targeted hatred against Ethiopia on TikTok Lives. Shockingly, this hate is coming from our fellow Africans. We must stop just hiding behind "Black pride" and start studying the history of these regional divisions, or we will remain blind to the threat. People are using pseudo-science to claim our features mean we aren't "true" Africans, calling us "Yemen invaders" or "Arabs." Having the African Union in Addis Ababa will not protect us if our African brothers are brainwashed by this propaganda. This identity-based scapegoating mirrors the dangerous rhetoric that led to the Rwanda genocide. I fear for Ethiopians in Uganda and South Africa. While we face food insecurity, our government focuses on development, roads, and a borderless Africa, yet hostile actors are destabilizing us. I have multiple records and video evidence of these hate campaigns saved. This is a massive security threat. Why is no one taking this seriously?
Jun 14, 2026Because it's not that serious. You need to calm down and look at the bigger picture, maybe ho offline and touch some grass sometimes.
