why is all the violence always coming from the countryside. why are the people there the ones always getting killed or being turned into fighters. we are completely obsessed with building up addis ababa and other cities while the rest of the country is being left to rot. i dont even support all this development in bishoftu when the foundation of the country is falling apart. do you guys honestly think the country can even last if we keep going like this. why dont we look at countries like vietnam or south korea. they saved themselves by focusing on the countryside first. why are we not building roads or schools or teaching basic skills out there. instead we just let them get tricked into joining forces because they have zero opportunity. it is like we are ignoring the root cause and just calling it politics or religion to hide the fact that we abandoned our own people. do you think we are failing as a country because we are sacrificing our rural foundation just to build up a capital
