I bought a Samsung phone from Ethio Telecom, and when I inserted a Safaricom SIM card, I got this message: 'You've installed a SIM card from a service provider that isn't supported. Some functions might not be available. Please insert an Ethio Telecom SIM card only.' I've tried many things, but nothing worked. Is there a way that works for you?

Feb 11, 2025I got the same issue and when I asked safaricom Sim selling guy, he tried to fix it and failed and told me only ethiotelecom can unlock it for you (if they even allow that). Anyway, please tell me if you find a solution 🙏
