Hello #Programmers hope you will help me. Here is the thing, I am a software engineering student and I can understand programming languages but my mind goes blank when I start to write code. I googled it and saw yt vids to find a solution for it but got nothing that will change it, they all say the same thing. So yeah anything you guys got to help will be appreciated.
Feb 05, 2025Hey there 👋 First of all, you're not alone🙂. This happens to almost every programmer at some point, especially in the beginning. It’s completely normal, and the good news is that you can overcome it🤗 Here’s the helpful points: ✅ Plan before you code Don’t just stare at a blank screen. Break the problem into small steps. Write a pseudocode, draw a simple flowchart, or even explain the logic out loud. ✅ Start small, build confidence Instead of watching endless tutorials, work on tiny projects like: A simple calculator 🧮 A to-do list ✨️ A number guessing game 🎲 ✅ Code every day (even a little) ⏳ Even 10–15 minutes daily keeps your brain in “coding mode.” Solve small coding challenges on platforms like LeetCode, HackerRank, or Codewars. ✅ Debugging is your friend 🐞 If you get stuck, don’t panic. Print out values, break down the code, and debug step by step. This helps more than you think 👌. ✅ Follow a structured learning path 📚 Jumping between random tutorials can be overwhelming. Stick to one structured course or book and go step by step. ✅ Join a coding community Talk to other programmers, do pair programming, or get feedback on your code. Sometimes, just explaining your logic to someone else(it can be me, am happy to hear logic explanation🙂) makes things click! Don't forget that💡 Coding isn’t just about knowing the syntax it’s about problem solving. It takes time, but the more you practice, the easier it gets. Be patient with yourself, and most importantly, keep coding! 💻🔥 You got this! 💪
