Does anyone know if there are any Muslim student fellowships inside universities? I currently don't have any Muslim friends because I'm not very sociable. I'm an introvert. I also don't have any Muslim friends (not intentionally) and I'm surrounded with protestant Christians all the time. This made me not want to go to Masjid (I've tried going alone but the Muslim community is very weak I couldn't make any friends). I'm sure many other Muslims are fading away too(I personally know) Please help your introvert brother in getting back to his Islamic culture.
Jan 20, 2025Aww I understand how difficult that can be. So, many universities do have Muslim students fellowships, it’d be better if you mention your university. However, I want to emphasize something important: even if you’re an introvert and don’t have muslim friends, don’t let that affect your connection with Allah (keep going to the Masjid). Good companionship is indeed valuable, but remember that being alone is far better than being with bad companions. Strengthen your bond with Allah through personal acts of worship and even if the community around you feels distant, know that Allah is always near. Maybe, just maybe that could be a test from Allah… and He wants to see how far you’ll go to become a better Muslim. If you really want it, consider attending local Masjid events. You don’t have to rush into making friends, just being in the presence of other Muslims can inspire your faith. May Allah make it easy for you, strengthen your faith, reward you with your intentions and guide you to good companionship. And may Allah guide us all and make us good Muslims and good companions. Wa Alaikum Assalam.
