I met a girl six months ago, and we were just colleagues. I wasn’t interested in her romantically, as I’m focused on personal growth and not ready for a relationship. Initially, we only talked about work, but over time, our conversations grew longer, and we started meeting in person. Although I didn’t have feelings for her, I admired her personality and began to worry she might want a relationship. Not wanting to hurt her, I tried to open my heart and like her. We talked about preferences in partners, and when I asked if she’d confess to liking someone, she said she’d give hints. Assuming she might expect me to make a move, I told her I liked her. However, she revealed she didn’t see me that way. Now, I’m unsure whether to stay friends or walk away.
