Hey guys, I'm a first-year university student, and there's this girl in my class who I find adorable. We like each other, but I'm not from the local area, unlike her. The problem is, there's this local guy who's interested in her romantically, but she doesn't feel the same way. He's become aggressive, threatening to fight me over her, even though we're just friends. I've tried to explain the situation, but he won't listen. Now, when she sees him, she tells him to leave her alone. His group and he keep giving me strange looks, and I really don't want to fight, especially considering the rules on campus. I've tried to avoid her, but we often end up leaving class together. What should I do?
