Hey seniors, is engineering worth it? I'm freshmen ena ke medicine ena computer engineering yetun limret eyalkugn nw Mn tilalach? Help ur sister out 🙏
Dec 31, 2024Hi! I'm a recent Computer Engineering graduate, and I've zero regrets about choosing it. I picked CE because I love math(specially advanced calculus) and the electronics side of engineering. In reality, though, most of my work is in software development since that's where the majority of job opportunities are. If your main goal is to work in software, studying Computer Science might be more than enough. What’s cool about Computer Engineering, though, is that it gives you a broader understanding of both hardware and software. It’s super versatile—you can switch between roles, handle complex projects, and u basically become "a jack of all trades". If you're a real tech nerd who loves a good challenge and the hardcore science stuff, CE is definitely worth it. As for Medicine, I can’t say much, but close friends tell me it’s really tough while studying—mentally and physically draining. Plus, the early career phase isn’t super rewarding in terms of pay or work-life balance. But once you climb the ladder, it seems to pay off really well. It’s a whole different vibe, though, so it depends on what you’re into. Hope this helps you figure things out. Good luck!
