I find it strange that whenever I meet new people and spend a lot of time with them, I don't see them as friends. I used to have a close-knit group of friends, but now that our paths have diverged, I don't have the luxury of seeing or meeting them. When I meet new people and spend time with them, it quickly turns into something more professional, and I can't seem to maintain that friend-like relationship with them. What's wrong?
