I'm gonna be very realistic wiz u rn, if ur fam depends on ur dad financially think of what will happen if they divorce, I mean u ain't gonna be getting 2 Christmas presents or 2 birthday cakes or sth, n tbh if u r z one to break z news u could potentially damage ur relationship with ur dad, so the question is what to do right, well Idk ur fam well enough to be giving u a right answer so I'm gonna list a bunch of solutions depending on the specific circumstances
1) if ur dad genuinely still loves ur mom, the girl he is seeing is just a side chick or a hoe, n he prolly seeing her to get some sexual pleasures n relief. In most cases this results in making him a nice father n husband too at times, like one that's happy to see his fam, always cheerful, u might even have noticed there r less arguments in z house n it's relatively more peaceful. In this case I personally say just let it be, it's prolly best for everybody, but u could let him know u know, but try to be more understanding
2) if ur dad doesn't really show his affection n u can kind of like feel that ur parents don't love each other anymore, like they don't talk a lot, no signs of affection, humor or they don't even quarrel. This most likely means that ur dad has a romantic interest in z girl he is seeing, which could lead her to being ur stepmom one day tbh, in which case u definitely gotta confront ur dad n tell him to tell ur mom, n like I said in z previous scenario it's best if he tells her himself
3) if ur dad is a drunk, abusive or somehow just a shitty father n a husband in general, then u just gotta tell ur mom urself, no question about this. As for ur financial situation, I'm hoping alimony n childcare laws work in this countryπ€
P.S unless it's z 3rd scenario, don't be mad at ur dad, he prolly didn't do this with bad intentions, he prolly loves u n his fam, n he was just looking for a way out or maybe sth dt, but either way he's ur dad n u have to remember u can never change that!
