But, accept the fact that not everyone that laughs with you is your friend. You're gonna meet people from different place, religion, culture and language. It's gonna be lots of experience. There are students who come from different areas and the things that are normal to them might not be for you. 3. Choose your friends wisely. It's very good if your friends from highschool are close to you but if not, pick someone that focus on school. I'm not saying don't have fun but some shits in uni are crazy sometimes, so be safe. 4. Don't waste your time wondering around because test will come before you know it. Because the grading system is different (like A for above 85 menamen) a single mark is worth everything. Don't underestimate a single assignment. 5. Material wise, you will obviously need notebook,pen, computer, module (pdf or printed)....not stress too much on this because it's pretty much similar to highschool and since you said you are temelalash I don't think you need to know about dorms Hope it is helpful
