I have a fiancé, let’s call him ‘x’. I just found out smt that’s making me so uncomfortable rn😅. Thing is, our families knew eachother long before they got married (esp our moms). My mom recently told me X’s dad had asked her for marriage back then, which she had rejected. We just laughed it off when she told me now, also me wondering how my life wld be if she had married him. He is a very nice and successful man btw. Anyways I’m grateful my dad is mine. And now, everyone is hearing that me and x are getting married, and my mom is hearing rumors that x’s dad still says “even if i failed getting the mother, we’re getting the daughter” n stuff. We’re now scared to think of what would happen if any of x’s family, his mom, or even my dad heard about this. Isn’t this so weird???😭
