1) The more they capture, the more member they get. The newer member are different from the seniors. Some of them are criminal, thieves, tesfa yekoretu, and so on; and they don't understand the purpose of armed struggle
2) People are happy at the first sight but it is always followed by crisis. Because the trade will be ceased due to blocked road. That means they cannot buy and sell their good.
3) These "initially happy people" are volunteer to provide them food mejemerya akababi. But due to the ceased trade, they run out food and couldn't provide them more. So now, providing them will no longer be voluntary work, but tortures.
4) Those "criminal, thieves, tesfa yekoretu who don't understand the purpose" will slowly become shifta and gets out of the control and start kidnapping and killing people they want.
5) When political division breaks out between struggle leaders, now is a game
6) Crimes and theft will become out of control
.
.
. and so on.
So, when Fano officially started their struggle, I have told people that it doesn't go the same way but they attacked me for being racist and genocide supporter. However, what I have said are happening even faster than OLA's. At least OLA are bit strategic and they don't dare to capture bigger cities because it could bring a huge disaster that could directly harm the people.
If you have heard current news in Gonder, they child have been kidnapped and killed. We have no idea who did this but, the drawback of capturing cities is bringing "lack of rule of law" and benefiting criminal. Look at today's Tigray too.
I still believe that neither OLA nor Fano are blood-thirsty against Oromo and Amhara civilian. But since it war is more complex, the government or another party could commit mass killing and blame on them.
Above everything, armed struggle gets bitter the more the time goes.
May God give us his peace and the intercession of Holy Mother be with us. I believe everything will be alright at the end🙏
