Aug 15, 2024Being a senior shouldn't distract you from what's important. There's a lot of talk about 12th grade being the end or a big deal, but don't let that get to you. Stay away from unnecessary drama. Keep your circle small, maybe just one or two close friends. Learn to be comfortable on your own and take a step back to observe what others are doing, see if it's really right for you. You're at a stage where you might make mistakes, and that's okay, but don't ignore them just because they seem small. Try to avoid getting into relationships right now. Expand your thinking beyond just local opportunities start looking into scholarships and download the Common App. Be careful when choosing your friends. Get involved in extracurriculars like attending events or conferences. It can really make a difference. Also, keep your plans to yourself and don't easily trust others. Hope you find this advice helpful!
