I am a man 28 years old and I have been facing some tough moments recently, both emotionally and mentally. It feels like everything is piling up, and I’m struggling to find my way through it all. I know everyone goes through difficult times, and I’m curious—how do you cope when life throws challenges your way? What helps you stay strong and find hope when it feels like everything is falling apart? I could really use some advice or even just someone to talk to who understands.
Aug 11, 2024I think you are going through what's known as a quarter-life crisis. It is a period of soul-searching and self-questioning that occurs in a person’s mid-20s to early 30s. Feelings of uncertainty, self-doubt restlessness, disillusionment, anxiety, and depression are common during a quarter-life crisis. Look bro, I'm no expert but I've been there and have seen it all. So I know how that feels from experience not just from books. I know it's hard and gets worse at times. What helped me cope with it? Just know there is nothing as one-size-fits-all solution. But, I just took leave from work and spent some quality time with myself. Enjoying my presence and reflecting on things. And the most important thing, I get peace reading this verse of the Bible, "Be still and know that I am God" And if you want to talk to someone you can always reach out to me anytime. Be still! Be strong! You've got this!
