I need answers I'm orthodox christian, as most of us I'm orthodox because my parents were when I born. I grow up trying to be close with my God, trying to know deeply about my religion but still I feel like I need more, fyi I don't read bible if u are going to suggest me that I started quite few times but I lose consistency. My question is not just for orthodox fellows but for u all, I wanna know how strong u become in ur religion, in ur beliefs, but most importantly how u study the bible and how u know more ty.♡♡

Hey I'm orthodox and I'm like u..i can't read the bibble but i guess i could say I'm closer.. maybe u should try listening to preaches on youtube that relates with ur situation. Aba Gebre kidan, memhr eyob ymenu and mostly diacon henok haile. I suggest u listen to their lessons and try to learn in ur own ways. I hope u succeed.

I used to be like you years ago. I was not allowed to go to church or learn about my faith from my family. I was expected to stay at home with my formal school books. When I reached grade 11, I told them directly that I needed to go to church, whether they allowed me to or not. So, I joined a Sunday school near my home. I learned the basics of my religion, started reading the Bible, and understood what my God sacrificed Himself for to save my soul. What I suggest is this: first, be committed and seek support from your fellow that have same religion as of you. Then, find a God father who will also teach you what to do and how to grow in your faith.

The meaning of following jesus is putting everything what u have for him. i.g you must get ur friend to chill you have to stop that meeting then read bible give your time for God that way will help you also pray then you will be able for it

Okay i am being honest, I was crying my out yesterday thinking how our World is ditracted from our God, we are not of the world we have a duty to share the gospel and i believe we can be save only through christ!❤️, read ask more and more don't listen to the crowd, listen to ur heart, don't listen the social media listen to ur because thats how God talks to us through our heart, stay well❤️, thats a good question :)

The Bible says "for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life" 2Cor 3:5-6 Before you practice any religion, just come forward to the Lord with questions, for you to figure things out. Pray that he could give you directions, ask him to give you people. Spiritual life should be about relationship With Jesus, not belonging to organizations. And if you passed through prayer and not good at reading, go listen to YouTube. A lot of materials there. But it can easily distract you so be picky and focus on the contents that are helpful.

And try to be emotionally attached to him. Try to know what the ceremonies held by ur religion mean and connect fully with it.

You almost got it in you first sentence. Religion is a man made thing. No evidence for what they claim is true. Including their gods and deities. Your fear of damnation is what keeping you in your religion. Once you overcome that. You will see how silly and nonsensical they are.

Agnostic here i respect all religion but it's not my cup of tea, i am more interested learning religion in secular way. i don't read the books ( i learned theology and read the bible but not anymore) there are other interesting things to do.
