1, There is another academy in debre zetyit which is called "Babugay maritime acadamy", their intake capacity is really small like 24 students per session 🤷‍♂️ which is hard to get , the job opportunity is different if u graduate from EMTI you will be employed directly through them but the other one after graduation you have to find a job by ur self 2, the sallary really depends on the shiping company and ur position but usually it's nice paying career since u get paid in dollar, for junior ETO (Electro technical officer) it starts from 1k dollar per month 3, u will spend 6 months on board and then u will have 2 months off 4, i think it worth because in Ethiopia finding a job is really difficult specially for engineering graduates and also they don't pay you much so it worth 😅
