Jul 23, 2024My brother I get u, it is very difficult to struggle for 11years and still not know how to overcome it, It is the same for me, but recently I have learnt something new and I have been pondering on it. The thing is we sin(mast*, or other sins) only because our heart is rebellious. And for me this very true, even when I have no desire for sex but only bc I am bored I would engage on mast*) But I learnt that if my heart is changed, its desires and interests also would also change. So I prayed to the lord to change my heart, and just by faith I believed he had indeeded changed my heart. So this seemingly stupid faith of mine requires me to read my Bible and pray. Truly speaking I am not that much excited to read the Bible, or pray, but my faith tells me that for my new heart to thrive and survive I have to do this. I don't belive in falling in half way bc if my heart is new then I should not really be caught in this again. And reading Bible,and praying are the methods to keep my new heart in healthy way, otherwise I might regress. So friend this is what I am trying to do, and it should work(bc I am putting my faith on the Lord that he has given me new heart) and perhaps you want to check on me after a month or a year and I would be happy to share you my experience and progress.
