That's a good thing. We all dont have to hurt people. But in a relationship both of the ppl in it should love eachother. If ur doing this to not hurt her then the chance of the relationship not going well or being broken is really high. So as my personal advice, wait for the girl who u love and she loves u back as well.

So you should just avoid it all together. And as I can understand form your text you don't even have strong feelings for her so why even bother? You'll just break her heart for nothing.
