Hi everyone, I have a question. My friends' parent just got scammed out of 300k birr by saying they are from CBE, can you tell me if there is any hope for the money to returned? Sure we can report it and stuff but does it really have hope of returning?

It's unlikely the scammer could withdraw all the funds in one day. However, if significant time has passed, the scammer may have taken all the money, leaving it to the police to investigate and find a solution.
