198Post pill doesn't act only by inhibition of ovulation, there are other mechanisms like inhibiting tubal motility, cervical mucus thickening and endometrial thinning, even when there is fertilisation, there will not be implantation, so, post pill us effective even after ovulation

57Post pill doesn't work after ovulation...before ovulation it delays ovulation but after that it doesn't prevent neither fertilization nor implantation...previously it was thought it prevent implantation but starting from December 2022 FDA(USA) removed the prior language suggesting post ovulation effect.... But Cupper IUD which is inserted in the uterus can prevent implantation(for this...You have to health center within five days)
