Muslims believe that Jesus Christ (pbuh) was one of Allah's mightiest messages, Muslims also believe that he was born miraculously without male intervention, that he also spoke when he was just a baby in a crib, and that he healed the leprosy, gave sight to the blind and even raised the dead WITH the permission of Allah.
Islam is the only non-christian faith that makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus son of Marry (pbuh)
We believe that he was sent to guide the lost people of Israel as it is mentioned in the Bible and the Qur'an many times. Islam doesn't falsify The Bible and the Torah, instead Allah says in the Qur'an that the Quran was sent down to confirm what was before it of the Bible and the Torah similar to what jesus says about the torah when he said that he hasn't come to destroy the law (torah) but to confirm it.
Allah has been sending messager since the down of the first human on the planet to keep in touch with his servants and to guide them to the right path.
The first prophet in islam was Adam (peace be upon him). Allah says in the Qur'an
Fatir 35:24
"...And there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner (a messanger)."
The difference between Islam and Christianity is that Islam doesn't claim divinity for Jesus Christ as christians do. And if you read the bible carefully, jesus never claimed devinity for himself nowhere saying i'm God or worship me.
The bible has been clearly corrupted by human hand and there are hundreds of versions of the bible already with different context and even number of verses, There are even verses missing from the modern versions, Allah didn't protect the Gospel cuz it was only sent for a specific period of time and only for the people of Israel. Nevertheless Allah says about the Qur'an 15:9
"Indeed, it is We who sent down the message [i.e., the Qur’ān], and indeed, We will be its guardian."
And Allah fulfilled his promises and kept the Qur'an as it was revealed from him. There are no different versions of the Qur'an, it's the same all over the world. No one could change the Qu'an and no one will ever be able to.
As it is the norm in religion scriptures usually prophesize the prophets that are to come after them or some events that are going to happen. The bible has foretold the coming of the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.
Prophet Muhammad has even been mentioned by name in The Gospel but it is hidden cuz it was translated from the Original language which was Aramaic, The language of Jesus.
One of the books that was missing of the bible was the book of Barnabas in which The prophet Muhammad was mentioned clearly by name
in the 22
nd chapter of the Gospel of Barnabas it says:
“And this will continue until there comes Muhammad the Messenger of God who, when he comes, will expose this deceit to those who believe in the laws of God.”
it says in the Book of Isaiah:
“I have made your name Muhammad O Muhammad, O beloved of the Lord, your name will abide forever.”
