Guys i always have one question in my mind what will be the penality if you kill someone that was trying to kill you, like self-defense
May 16, 2024The penalty will depend on how convincingly you can argue that the murder was committed in self-defense rather than intentionally. Additionally, the court will assess whether killing was a reasonable self-defense measure given the threat posed to you, considering whether fleeing or using minimal force could have stopped the attacker. If, after considering all circumstances, the court is convinced that killing the person who intended to kill you was necessary and proportionate, you will be acquitted. However, this is rarely the case, as it is almost never essential to end someone's life to defend yourself when simpler and more rational defense mechanisms exist.
