May 01, 2024In orthodox we believe in the holy trinity and we ask saints to beg/pray on our behalf for our sins.and we believe jesus have saved us is saving us and will save us it is ongoing process in order for our salvation we have to suffer. If you love him you must do as he says if you don't that's your choice God doesn't force you your choice *In protestant there is no such thing as saint you are already saved no need for just wait to die and go to jesus(because they say jesus have done fasting for them they don't fast, tell me didn't jesus sleep when he lived on earth then why would you sleep didn't he ate why would you eat?) With love and respect i am speaking the truth i hope God helps you all see the Truth

Mar 08, 2025The first thing I wish you would know is that religion is not going to save you. The only thing that is going to save you is Jesus Christ, not being protestant or orthodox. So, you might ask "I have already accepted Jesus Christ so what am I supposed to do next?" Well, buddy, I advise you to always pray to God so that the Holy Spirit can lead you to Him. Read the bible, ask the pastors in your church to teach you the bible. And don't always follow what everybody says there are many false teachers, make sure to always cross-check the bible. We are supposed to follow Jesus Christ and his ways not the people who follow the same religion as we do. Though, the church is a crucial part of Christianity, so is personally connecting with God through prayers and the bible. Every day be thirsty to know more about God, be thirsty to know more about Jesus Christ and be thirsty to know more about the Holy Spirit. So, at the end of the day the answer is read your bible and always pray in the name of Jesus Christ, that is the only true way to God.
