Im not gonna lie to you medical school, residency and even life after you graduate is not going to be easy (especially in some specialities). it will consume almost all your time and affect your relationships, and other aspects of your life outside of medicine (atleast it did for me and deveryone i know who went to med school). It takes you being just more than interested in the science or the money if you are going to be happy in medicine. it takes you being interested in people. If that is the case medicine is the best path you can follow. you will see amazing things almost everyday and learn to do amazing things as you progress. its more than i can put into words. you would literally fall into someones life at the worst moments of their lives and get to share in countless moments of sadness and get to give comfort to countless people in need. you will also share in countless moments of joy and peace. there really is nothing else quite like it. as far as the money thing goes, that will change. i mean things where different when i started medschool five years ago, i mean they got worse. but the point im making is that things changed from what i initially calculated. and trust me they will change again as we start dealing with the causes for them. dont make a decision based on what seems to be the case now. things are always changing, in all the paths you can possibly take. so choose your path based on something that will not change. i hope you consider it brother/ sister....but consider it carefully.😁
