If there's a tech expert/enthusiast here, or a software/CS student who knows what they're doing, please answer this. My question is 1. will AI replace software engineers? And is what I'm doing worth it? (I'm in my first year and I'm starting everything from scratch, no previous experience at all), If yes, what should I do now 2. Will I be valuable as I get older? I hear there's ageism in this industry and it scares me. I'm not interested in working for myself or creating a startup. I want a stable job where my skill is valuable 3. I'm a complete beginner so what should I do to become the best there is out there? I'm a hard worker, I just need directions and a goal (right now I have no clue of what I'm doing) Thanks 🙏
Apr 18, 20241. Never, because AI was not created to replace us, instead it's created to help us, as other emerging technologies did. - When calculator were created, there was same hype that it would replace mathematicians, but it makes the task easier - When high-level programming languages were developed, there was similar hype, but it increased the number of programmers. 2. Maybe you thought about web development or app development, but the world won't be digitalized without a programmer, also you gotta be better from others The fittest will survive. 3.
