From Dr. Point of view. He probably has a hyperhidrosis with some bacterial/fungal infection of the skin He might take some prescribed medicatiom that will be secreted via sweat and smells. Or last resort you may think he stinks, or even have an olfactory hallucinations if you are the only one witnessing the smell and other family members are not.
