I don't think you have it right when you say that everybody considers slim as the standard shape for girls. But it is what many people find attractive. I personally believe that being the right amount of skinny is a show of a healthy living style and nothing more. Same goes for guys; pot bellies or excessive fat is not something I would consider as repulsive factors, but it shows that that person is not dedicated to their shape and health as others might be. Yes, it might be a turnoff for some people, but it has to do more with describing that person's personality than anything else. Or so I think.☺️
