Guys, why in twenty first century, people believe in weird things, i mean some Ethiopians believe in evil eye (buda), some believe that earth is flat, most people believe that we were created from dust with no genetics engineering some 6000 years ago and most importantly most ethiopians believe "illuminati" is a real thing.
Mar 21, 2024First of all ur question should be in the category of #others, it's not #politcs. Furthermore, those things you mentioned are not meant to be just myth- Buda exists, flat earthers have such a strong point that could shake the thought of the globe. And surely Illuminati exists. They worship satan- they're legal religious institutions, in most western countries, a lot of celebrities are part of them, bla bla ... someone couldn't just believe something from scratch. There is always some reason behind, although that could be right or wrong.

Mar 21, 20241. Just cuz u haven't experienced something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist, like evil eye for instance 2. About flat earth, ig some people like to feel special cuz uk they somehow have "figured it out" and us globe earthers are naive mnamn, imo yes u should ask questions but asking questions doesn't make u curious. Looking for answers does but flat earthers are so in love with their ideas that they aren't willing to do or read actual researches and look for answers. The ones that did look for answers proved the earth is a globe multiple times on the internet lol 3. About our creation, wdym genetic engineering? And if u think about it, we are created from star dust but I don't get why u said dust. about the 6000 years thing, that baffles me to but not everybody studies science and people think religion and science are mutually exclusive. Imo they aren't. At least not at this day and age where science really has no clue whether the universe is eternal or has a beginning so ye the reason ppl believe in young earth is bc they don't study science and its okay. We all have different roles here. 4. As for the illuminati thing, I myself am not sure whether they exist or not but believing in a secret society that is ruled by some dark spirit makes sense to me since lots of artists themselves have confessed to selling their souls, whatever that means... anyway, I do feel like ur question sounds aittle condescending and instead of trying to label these people, try to listen and understand their pt of views (except for flat earthers lol they frustrate me)
Mar 22, 2024Living in the 21st century won't change facts. Of course some people believe in the flat earth theory, because it made sense to them. And others believe in the creationist theory, because it made sense to them as well. And, most importantly you, if I am not mistaken believe that these things are false because you are a literate. So, what makes sense to you? Do you believe that you came from Chimpanzees? Do you believe that this amazing world, a world that is so perfect is made out of nothing? Do you really believe that this perfect and beautiful world was made of two things colliding? If you ask me, that's a bit weird thing to believe on. And as a Christian, of course I have to rely on believing that God exists and it may sound a bit silly. But I can assure you that God exists. You may not test or verify it scientifically, but if you want you can feel him. He is so close to our hearts and he is full of love.

Mar 21, 2024man knowledge is hard work and peoples don't want to make effort for that so they search and belive the unreasonable and irrational myth.
