Castor oil is a heavy oil..you can't use it as it is on ur scalp..what you should do is add it in the hair masks like avocado and egg and whisk it together and then apply it on ur hair and wash it after few hours or leave it overnight and wash it the next day..so you have to add it in the hair masks to benefit from its advantages..additionally you can mix little amount of castor oil and other lightweight oil like olive oil , grapeseed oil,sesame oil,avocado oil,sunflower oil and use it everyday without need to wash it
