Yeah men protfolio, GitHub account and LinkedIn is a must.if you doesn't have protfolio with amazing projects who gonna know you can code except you and God . regrading jobs thier are plenty of jobs available for front end but don't tell me you only learn html, css and js add css framework bootstrap ad is framework like react , angular or Vue .I recommend react as it's in demand then create protfolio website that shows your best projects and host them on infinity free if you are broke like me if you have some bucks consider buying domain to make it professional. For backend I recommend ethier Go , python and js if you are familiar with js continue with node and other js framework for backend but if you want to get many jobs I highly recommend either c# or java for backend those dinosaur langues are used in big tech companies and has may jobs but node js and python are mostly for startups
