this medicine(dexa 0.5) is corticosteroid the main purpose of it is for allergic reaction and autoimmune problems. yes it does make you gain weight by retaining water in your body but we consider that as the side effect of the drug and it have another series side effect too which is diabetes! belive me am a drug expert i gave this medicine for several people's the did gain muscle mass but they end up with diabetes for life
