Hey guys endet nacheu so this question is for students of paulos medical collage, Do u think it's a good place ena do u think it's worthy to study medicen( ye zendro tefetagn nberku)
Oct 20, 2023If u really want to study medicine in Ethiopia, I suggest you to study at St paul and no other place at all. That's how much of a good school I'd say it is. I was a student at st.paul. it is a good school. Definitely should be ur number one choice. But now let's talk about the field of medicine in Ethiopia. The field is very bad in Ethiopia. Being a doctor in Ethiopia really sucks. It's not only about payment,,,the whole system is so messed up. That's what I witnessed in the 2 years I spent in med school. I don't recommend anyone to join medicine in Ethiopia. If you really want to help people, of course you can do so in other ways. There are other plenty of ways to help people in different ways,,, medicine isn't the only way to save lives,,,you could get into public health and deal with health issues in more broad perspective. Generally, in my opinion medicine is not worth it in Ethiopia. There are other alternative paths you could take to be on the health field if you are interested. But trust me, med school isn't a good option. It's not worth it. Avoid it!
