#education People I've scored 590 on entrance and I want to get information about computer science and both software engineering in AAU from a student that has entered this departments in the past recent years. I want a great detail and insight. Please it's urgent. Thanks in advance.
Oct 20, 2023I am 4th year Software student at AAU, AAiT. To enter this departemnt you need to do a good grade on freshman courses, At our time the cutting point for male was like 96.85(4 corresponding to 100) for male and 86.10 for females, in the last batch it was 98.65 for male and 93.08, From your entrance result I think you can do good on fresh man courses since most of them are not that much hard but require good study time. On Departement aspect it is not like what you imagine You just teach yourself, But it is a good place since you can get good opportunities. And Good luck!

Oct 20, 2023I'm Software Engineering student at AAU and I can tell you that Entrance results doesn't matter at all (expect for entering the engineering school, AAiT), what matters is your GPA in freshman and preengineering courses. If you're male you'll need to score 3.9 or higher
Oct 20, 2023In AAU getting field like Software Engineering and computer science is very competitive bro.Entry point for computer science in our yr is 84.23% next 86% and las year it was around 88%To join Computer science your UEE will be seen out of 50% and your first semester GPA is out of 50%.Now look in percent ur UEE is around 42% so minimum you have to score around 3.9 in your freshman semester to join computer science of course you can get this point easily with having 590 in UEE.This is all about cs. About software if you are male you have to score almost 4.0 in all consecutive semester b/c even last year entry point was around 98%
