Econ graduate of 2021 from commerce here, and this is my honest observation. 1. All fields of study have their easy and hard courses depending on your skill set and hard work, so it isn't a unique issue with econ. 2. You need to invest a lot of time in not only reading but also understanding and practicing. The courses by nature are not shemdeda, they need you to comprehend the material and be able to explain it. (Most of the work the teachers give at commerce is aimed at this so make sure you do them well instead of copying from someone else) (For some courses, specially the ones with calculationsand graphs read the reference books, so exercises and watch videos) 3. Tension and stress will destroy your grade more than the difficulty of the course. So keep an eye on that and distance yourself from these conversations. 4. You've got this!
