okay I really need advice and opinion of people that know about this stuff so I an stressed here thinking about future and the worst thing is I am studying civil engineering bcuz I don't have any choice I feel like I'm wasting my years with something I don't want So I guess my question is how is the possibility I'd be successful in this field???maybe if I have connection with some people??and what's the lowest possible GPA I need for all of this to happen??

Take online courses and prepare ur self to do other jobs if it doesn't work for you you have to hv plane B and work for it

Am 4th yr Civil Eng. Student And u can be quite successful if u hv z connection dats z only thing dat matters if not i suggest u study wt u like b4 its too late (or you can take other fields in the weekend program like management, marketing,accounting...while learning civil)

Ya his right by civil their is slightly small chance to get a job even if you do the salary is so bad so try to study accounting or management in weekends that's really help when you graduate... I've been there dude

I graduated last yr in civil and this is my experience. I have a very good grade but what me and my friends did is when we were in 3rd yr (start earlier if u can) we enrolled in a distance program in one of the private universities (in social field) so we could finish both degrees at the same time. So that in case jobs are not available in one there will definitely be a job available in the other. Especially social fields are very easy to get jobs now adays .... and the grade requirements r low... but for civil it has become very difficult to even get an internship.... forget getting a job even if u have connections.

lol, I feel the same way too. What makes me feel better is the fact that, no matter what one does, it will not matter in the long run. We as human beings won't matter in the end. Therefore it doesn't matter what you do or how hard you do it, in a 100 years, no one will give a flying fuck about it. Live your life happily doing what you want to do, cause no one's gonna care. Hope this makes you feel better.
