Jul 11, 2023So if you have graduated and finished clearance at your university, you should have a paper stating how much you owe in cost sharing. Take that paper, plus your kebele ID, your temporary degree (and any other documents your local gebiwoch biro requires) to the gebiwoch biro in your residential area. They will ask you to get a new TIN number and then open a file for you. They'll also calculate the amount you owe if you have any interest or reductions based on when you graduated. Then you can start paying the cost sharing regularly or all at once, via CBE. Once you complete the payments, they'll give you a letter stating you have completed the payment. You can then take that letter to your university to get your original degree and transcript. This is a highlight of the steps, but remember in typical gebiwoch fashion they'll send you from one office to another and make you stand in lines. So it could be a bit of a lengthy process.
