hey dental student here. since we have a lot in common with med students including the amount of years we learn and some other courses and i have so many med student friends let me share what i know. so in ethiopia the med school process take 6-7 years then you will be called a general physician then it will take 4-7 in general(sometimes more) depending on the speciality you choose. Things i really recommend you is please don't get into med school if you want to make money trust me it is not the place there are other fields that are easier to learn and pays good i saw a video last week of a resident who is specializing in surgery that he gets paid 9000 and when finishes the speciality 1000 brr nw add yemiyaregew which is so low considering the amount of years u took to learn and the hardships u went through. so make sure it is your real passion cause that will keep u going through the hardships that u will face. lela ngr demo you have to know bzu ngr kebad nw like u have exams every two weeks mnamn ena you have to study 1000 mnamn slides so make sure u are comfortable kuch blo matenat lay i am not tell u this to scare u i want u to know what u will be dealing with. lelaw demo bzu sw med aychalem mnamn yilal i dont agree besu it is doable but needs a lot of effort and energy so if u are 100% sure it is ur passion go for it eshi. the last thing i want to tell u is that getting into med school is so hard and competitive specially if u choose univeristy like AAU mnamn so make sure to have good matrik results and 1st semester GPA since field yemimeretew 1 semester temrachehu nw u could also try st. paul fetena alw mnamn. anything u wanna know kale feel free to ask beterefe Good luck!
