I think the most effective way is to build projects, as many as you can. Start from basic ones like a simple calculator, or a protfolio website ( If you're doing webdev ). There are many projects on github you can look up. Go and try to solve problems on leetcode. Also my biggest mistake when starting coding was that I didn't master one language first. I learnt a bit of C# and then moved to Python and then to JS. I suggest you master one language first before moving on to others. As the concepts are essentially the same, you'll find it easier to learn new ones. Good luck.
