People in the field now have a theory that there were multiple reactions similar to the big bang that were exploding and imploring within themselves (and unlike laymen, scientists don't spring up theories from nowhere so I think there sth to check out there)
You may say okay, but what was there before those things?.. well, there was nothing. NOTHING. no darkness, not space, no time, nothing! Its only due to our failure of imagination that we cannot think of nothing, inexistence. We simply cannot comprehend nothingness.
The question you ask seems to assume that something must've created the big bang.. that begs another question tho.. what created your God? nothing? no one? he/she was eternal? he/she sprung from nowhere? If u can imagine sth as intelligent and complicated as ur god can come about from nothing, why can't u imagine that a tiny tiny mass of matter can come from nothing?
