One potential business idea that could work for 150,000 birr in Ethiopia is starting a small, specialty coffee shop. Ethiopia is well-known for its high-quality coffee, and there is a growing demand for specialty and artisanal coffee shops in urban areas like Addis Ababa. With 150,000 birr, an entrepreneur could potentially secure a small commercial space, purchase coffee brewing equipment and supplies, and hire a few part-time staff members. The focus could be on serving high-quality, locally sourced coffee drinks, along with some small snacks or pastries to accompany them. By creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere, the coffee shop could attract a loyal customer base and generate a profitable stream of revenue. Over time, the business could expand by offering additional products or hosting events like coffee tastings or live music nights.
