Hey guys, question for my muslim brothers and sisters... I was wondering if being deeply interested in particular school of philosophy and applying what they teach to my daily life gets in any way of my connection with Allah? Will it be considered shirk? May 19, 2023If that particular school of philosophy has anything that is shirk and might even lead to it I don't think it's permissible. But if the philosophy is on things that won't interfere with your religious life and your connection with Allah , then I think philosophy is the root of all things if philosophy in general came to an end we wouldn't be able to tafakkur , we need to question things that we can and should. This is not an expert's answer so I might be mistaken, wallahu aelem.
