I am grade 12 students i like drawing and now my heart saying draw an abstract my mind says u have to study which one shall i choose

Oct 03, 2020Listen, the world we live in is a funny place. People tell you all the time to "follow your dreams" but what they fail to mention is that that is a privilege for the rich. If you are middle class or lower, you need to think about what gets you food on the table. And abandoning everything to becoming an artist has a low chance for that happening. So I would advice you to do your best to study something you dont hate and work a job while keeping your art as a hobby. Dont abandon your creativity and keep trying to make money from it but dont depend on that to make a living. Bc if it works out, great. If it doesnt, you still have a wonderful hobby you are free from being pressurised into monetizing. Good luck dear!
