Medicine... i don't recommend u to learn in private at all. And also not in most of the government institutions. It just not worth it even if you have interest for medical stuff. It does open many doors for you....but it takes a lot of sacrifice. Even if you have the passion and you are learning in a good school, you may struggle just because of the shitty system of our country Other health fields.... as far as I know, they have better job opportunities than other fields. But when it comes to salary it doesn't have that much difference We can go on and on about other fields like this....like u said there are negative stuff about every field. There is no easy explanation for field choice. You are the one that should choose carefully on your own. I am not saying don't consider other factors. But don't give too much value for external factors. Your interest matter the most....as you may notice, every field in ethio has its down sides. I say the smartest thing to do is to choose a field that you love and you think you are good at. Don't think about what would happen after years. Things may change then. Even if you choose medicine you have many other alternative paths to follow besides the clinical work. The same is true for other fields. Just because you pick one field now it doesn't mean you will stick by it forever. There are plenty of opportunities to study abroad after graduation and follow fields that really interests you the most...so for now go for what you love and what you think you would be good at. It may not be the right choice. Don't worry about that,,,there will be possibility the change your career at some point in the future
