For an Orthodox Sisters and Brothers🙏 How to love and fear God? How to at list appreciate and dedicate my time to the one who loved me? How do I open my eyes and see the real truth? How could I connect with God? I am not a bad person to the peoples around me or I didn't do any thing bad that I regret it right at this moment but I feel like I'm long away from God. I need this to change

Apr 11, 2023Your every step u take or every decision you make should be sth that glorifies God and remember sin seperate us from God...to be a real christian u hv to obey God, if u say you love him u hv to obey him. People think that religion is all about rules and obligations but the thing is we need God more than he needs us...he tell us not to do this or that bcuz at the end of the day that bad thing we do will harm us... he is like the father that tells u not to touch a fire when u were a kid bcuz he knows it will burn u but u don't..see it's not an obligation but bcuz he cares for u he doesn't want to see u hurt. Prayer gets us closer to God, it's not relaying in church or priest...a priest and church r a guide for u not life the main thing is your personal connection with God so seek that! If u have questions ask him not people, so u won't be confused but sometimes God will even use people to Guide u but is better to ask him.
