AI has advanced significantly in recent years and is capable of performing many computing tasks that were previously done manually. However, I don't think AI will replace programmers completely. While AI can help analyze data and automate some programming tasks, it still lacks the creative and strategic thinking that a human programmer can bring to the table.
Programmers use their expertise, experience, and creativity to develop novel solutions to complex problems that require an understanding of the big picture, as well as attention to detail. They also bring a human perspective to the table, which is difficult for AI to replicate.
That being said, AI will continue to evolve and play a greater role in the development of software applications. In the near future, programmers will likely work side by side with AI systems to create more powerful and efficient software programs. So, while AI won't replace programmers, it will continue to have an impact on the field of software development.
