For me, "chance" is not something that is really that deep. It is simple. It shows how the way this world work is so random. It is not like "somebody have no chance and can't succeed." It is more like all of us somewhere and sometime face this randomization of the world. Sometimes we benefit from it and sometimes it hurts us. Buttt do our choices influence our life? - Of course, they do. But to what extent? There are many things that we can't control. I think the word "chance" describes that. This world is so random!
