Hello. So my dad is currently building a big house in Addis. I have a little sis too btw. So last week my dad told me he wrote in his will that the house belongs to me and my sister, but that his gf/life partner (she’s not my or my sisters mother btw) is allowed to live in the house as long as she‘s alive. They’re not married and he only has known her for 3-4 years (around the time he started the process of building the house). I really was shocked when he told me this. I kinda have the feeling she knows about this even though he declined that. But I saw that he forwarded her my ID (which he asked me to send him a few months ago to write the will). He said it would be only "human" to let her live in the house. Is this normal? Am I overreacting?
Mar 22, 2023No no you are not overacting at all You have to make sure that the house is yours, you have to look at it closely because you don't know what will happen tomorrow, if something happens, no one cares about you. And Don't let your father feel sry by your action on his partner so you need to look at it smartly and carefully. be humble and wise. This is a must for you and your sister.
